Subject	KDIC held the Symposium on Deposit Insurance Policy
The KDIC, in association with the Korea Money and Finance Association (KMFA) held a symposium titled ‘Improvement on Deposit Insurance System by introducing the Target Fund System and Differential Insurance Premium System’ on May 16. A variety of topics such as the adequate target size of the fund, the appropriate time to introduce this system classified by the type of financial institutions, and the suitable ratio for target amount of the fund and the soundness of each financial institution were discussed in depth.
