Subject	The International Open House 2006
In celebration of its 10th anniversary, the KDIC held the International Open House from June 14 to 16, 2006, at the KDIC headquarters. The KDIC invited members of International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI) and other relevant deposit insurance institutions around the world to the International Open House, and 52 delegates from 18 different countries came to Seoul to participate in the event. The International Open House was conducted through a series of presentations about Korea’s financial safety net, case studies of financial structuring, risk surveillance, prompt resolution, and investigation to provide insights into our experiences, and following the presentations, active discussions took place among the participants. Throughout this event, the KDIC hopes to strengthen its role in the IADI and continue to play a significant role as a stepping-stone in establishing a financial hub in East Asia.
