On March 9th, the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC) opened a new branch office in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The new office is tasked with supporting efforts to retrieve the assets of several insolvent savings banks invested in the Cambodian property sector, in cooperation with local authorities.
