Subject New Customer Service for Certificate of Debts Applicants
  • Heavy debtors in need of Certificate of Debts to take advantage of the Credit Counseling and Recovery Service will no longer need to visit failed financial institutions in person to receive their certificates. The Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation has announced that it will handle and process applications for such certificates through its Customer Service Desk, located in the lobby of its headquarters in Chung-gu, Seoul from March 3, 2006.

    The results of a survey conducted in August last year showed that most visitors to the KDIC Customer Service Desk were ¡®very satisfied¡¯ with the service they received.
