Subject	Joo Hyun Kim Taking Office as New Chairman and President of KDIC
Joo Hyun KIM Taking Office as New Chairman and President of the KDIC Mr. Joo Hyun Kim, former Secretary General of the Financial Services Commission, took office as new Chairman and President of the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC) on May 27, 2012. In his inaugural address on May 29, Mr. Kim urged KDIC staff to work hard to resolve outstanding issues including the resolution of failed mutual savings banks. He also stressed the importance of enhancing public confidence in the deposit insurance system and adopting a more advanced system. In particular, he demanded expertise and integrity from all employees as members of an organization in service of the public interest. Please see the attached file for further information.
