Subject	Consulting Service for Mutual Savings Bank
In order to improve management system and strengthen core competence of mutual savings banks, the KDIC has provided a consulting service for the banks since 2003 and plans to upgrade the service this year. The consulting service is expected to build a win-win relationship between KDIC and mutual savings banks, contributing to the growth of the mutual savings bank and promoting the soundness of deposit insurance fund. The results of a survey conducted to evaluate the consulting service show that the 94% of the savings banks are ‘very satisfied’ with the consulting service they received and hope to receive the service on regular basis. Furthermore, it is reported that the 70% of the banks improved their profitability. This year, the KDIC plans to provide a customized consulting service for the 10 savings banks that has requested for the service. To serve the needs of the banks well, the KDIC will expand the contents of the service and its specialties by adding new services. For the more information, please refer to the attached file.
